Assembly Estimates

So what can you get assembled at a dollar a minute on a week day or a dollar and a half a minute on a evening or weekend? Here is a basic list of IKEA items built on a regular basis.

(Note, other manufactures of similar items will fall within these estimates). Rates include unpacking (which is time consuming), sorting and assembling. (also see special rates below):


Bed Frames:
Twin Size - 20 minutes
All Full and Queen Size - 45 minutes
Loft type beds - 1 hour or more depending on space available in your home

Night Stands:
Single Drawer - 20 minutes

Dressers (chest of drawers):
(includes Malm, Hemnes, Hopen IKEA Dresser Systems)
Vertical 3 drawer 35 minutes
Vertical 4 drawer - 45 minutes
Vertical 5 drawer - 55 minutes
Vertical & Horizontal 6 drawer - 65 minutes
Horizontal 8 drawer - 75 minutes

Wardrobes:
Pax Frames - 30 minutes (FRAME ONLY)
Pax sliding doors (each door needs assembly) - $180 flat fee (no matter time)
Pax Hinged doors - 15 minutes
Handles or Pulls - 5 minutes
Kompliment - Based on amount and type
- example: 4 x Drawer, 1 x rod, 2 full doors - 1.5 hour total
Kompliment Wooden Drawers - 15 minuites
Kompliment Jewelry Boxes - 25 minutes
Kompliment Shelves - 5 minutes
Kompliment Wire Drawers - 5 minutes

Lack Shelves - 25 minutes (includes hardware such as wall anchors we supply)
Side tables and coffee tables - 20 to 30 minutes
Four shelf vertical bookcases, narrow - 30 minutes
